Back in May last year we wrote about the magnificent old former hotel that sits in pride of place on the quayside in Harwich and the residents hopes and wishes of a turn around in fortunes for Quayside Court.
Well, a year on and we are pleased to announce the building has a new management company stepping in to steady the ship. The current board of directors of the Right To Manage have made great progress over the last 18 -24 months and now the specialist managing company PMS Managing Estates Ltd has been awarded a contract to manage the day to day running of the building.
There is a long way to go if the residents are to restore the building and bring it back to its former glory. With the right management team and forward thinking from the residents we’re sure it can be achieved.
Tell us of the past
Quayside Court has had a varied and at times chequered past and I’m sure many a Harwich resident has a tale to tell.
Here at Bluzer we would like to hear from anyone who might have some amusing or colourful stories to tell of its past. Maybe you have some old photos of how the interior once looked before it was public offices or before it was converted into flats. We’re particularly keen to find any photographs of the interior and original colour schemes.
It would be great to hear from you!
